Marketing & Member Services Group

M&MSG is a re-formed working group of the UDG, established to deal with the publicity and outreach responsibilities of the UDG.

The M&MSG has the following principal functions:

Prepare and produce a Communications Strategy and Plan, including short, medium and long term priorities;
Promote and raise the awareness of local authorities of the UTMC framework in meeting local authorities' policy and operational objectives, through the website, promotional materials, events and annual conference;
Promote and raise the awareness of other network operators in the UK and overseas of the UTMC framework in meeting their policy and operational objectives through the website, promotional materials, events and annual conference;
Publicise the role of the UDG and promote the benefits of membership;
Manage the UTMC website and keep it up-to-date;
Organise an annual conference, including workshops
