Technical Specifications
The UTMC Technical Specification consists of:

The set is supported by two key process documents:
- UTMCD029-1.0 - Procedure for submission of updates (Adobe Acrobat - 60kb)
- UTMCD014-1.3 - Use of the UTMC logo (Adobe Acrobat - 125kb)
In addition there is a series of guidance documents (UTMC-TRxxx) which are available to subscribers of the UTMC Development Group (UDG). There is information on how to become a member here
Management of the UTMC Technical Specifications
The Registry provides format standards for shared data (ie data communicated between applications of a UTMC system, or between a UTMC system and an external system) through:
- holding definitions of current UTMC Objects, and making them available to users;
- receiving submissions for potential new UTMC Objects, and coordinating consultation as necessary;
- facilitating contact between Object developers;
- advising on changes needed to potential new UTMC Objects;
- registering new UTMC Objects.
It also provides some guidance on how to configure the exchange of data.
