UTMC Suppliers Forum (USF)
The USF represents the contribution of suppliers to the development and adoption of UTMC in the UK and overseas. A Management Group comprising senior representatives of the leading suppliers of UTMC-compliant products oversees the direction and operational aspects of the USF and formal Terms of Reference (Adobe Acrobat - 49kb) set out its mission statement and constitution.
The USF takes an active role in the development of the UTMC technical specifications, in particular the development of Data Objects which can be supported by all suppliers of UTMC systems and components. The USF's Technical Working Group has a membership comprising technical personnel from the supplier community. This helps ensure that the technical outputs of the UTMC programme are deliverable in practice.
The USF maintains a close working relationship with the purchaser-led UDG and with the Department for Transport. Although membership of the USF is open to all commercial suppliers of UTMC-related goods and services, it should be noted that member-related activity is focused around this website; all information likely to be of interest to any supplier will be found here or elsewhere on the UTMC website.
